The Center for Excellence in Adoption Services (CEAS) accredits and approves adoption service providers (ASP) for intercountry adoption. CEAS maintains a directory of Adoption Service Providers Information: ASP Directory.
You may search by the country from which you wish to adopt or the state in which the provider is located.
Please note: While the agency that conducts your home study must be licensed in your state of residence, the ASP you select to be your Primary Provider (often referred to as a “placing agency”) for an intercountry adoption does not. If you do not locate an accredited ASP with a program that meets your needs or works in the country from which you wish to adopt, you may wish to consult the accrediting entity that has oversight of ASPs: Center for Excellence in Adoption Services (CEAS), www.ceadoption.org/contact.
If you wish to review information on substantiated complaints filed in the Complaint Registry against an ASP, you may do so by reviewing the Accreditation and Approval, Substantiated Complaint and Adverse Action Report, also found on Public Information | CEAS.
